20 Small Business Website Examples by Business Type (with Demos)

Short answer
Good small business website examples answer the most frequent questions from customers before they are asked: price per kilo for laundry, price board for barbershop, doctor's schedule for clinic, liter calculator for paint shop. Below are 20 examples by business type that you can open and try. All of them are demos made by InWebsite, not client websites.
The quickest way to explain the website you want to its creator is to point to an example and say: like this, but for my business. The example should be accessible and try-able, and preferably from a similar type of business, because laundry and clinics need very different things on the first screen. The twenty examples below were built by us as demos. The business name, rating, and number of customers visible in them are sample entries, and there are no sales figures that we can claim from them. They are ordered from the simplest, a single page containing prices and a WhatsApp button, to those that are full of movement and interaction.
Laundry: three customer questions answered before they chat

Questions that come to the laundry are almost always three: how much per kilo, whether your area is covered by our pickup and delivery service or not, and when it will be finished. In the CuciKilat demo, right after the introduction section, there is a banner containing the pickup radius, processing time, and business hours, then the prices for regular, express, and special items are arranged as cards that can be read without zooming. The WhatsApp pickup request button is installed in the header and in the introduction section.
Barbershop: the same price board that hangs on the wall

You choose a barbershop from the haircut results, then confirm two things before heading out: price and opening hours. The Rapi Barbershop demo organizes its prices like a board on the wall of the barber shop, grouped into cutting and styling, facial care, and packages. Right below the opening section, there is a note that walk-in customers are still accepted, because that's what people who want to drop by after work want to make sure of. Those who want to order a schedule just need to press one WhatsApp button.
Motorcycle repair shop: service rates written before the bike is taken apart

People look for a workshop when their vehicle is already problematic, often while standing on the side of the road, and bring one unspoken concern: fear of being cheated. The demo of Bengkel Motor Jaya writes down a list of service jobs along with their rates in the style of a mechanic's job order sheet. The about section explains that the damage and costs are conveyed before the mechanic dismantles anything.
Coffee shop: photos of the place get read before the menu

Those who type cafe in Google are usually looking for a place to sit for several hours. The Kedai Kopi Rasa demo provides a large space for room photos and a brief story of the cafe, then a menu in a chalkboard style with clear prices. Takeaway orders come in via WhatsApp. For your own cafe, two small details often determine whether people decide to go or not: the last order time and the availability of power outlets near the tables.
Coffee roastery: every bean gets its own detail page

One page is enough for a cafe with a menu that fits on a board. A roastery that sells beans from several gardens needs more space, because each bean has its origin, roasting method, and flavor that buyers want to compare. The KAWA Coffee demo is built with multiple pages: a coffee catalog with detailed product pages, an interactive map of the origin gardens and its partner farmers, a journal section, and a journey from the garden to the cup that moves as you scroll. This form starts to make sense once your catalog is long enough to be compared one by one.
Florist: a catalog by occasion and an order cutoff for same-day delivery

Almost all flower orders have deadlines, and some come suddenly due to news of mourning this morning. The Kenanga Florist demo sets an order deadline for same-day delivery right after the introduction section. The catalog is organized by event, such as birthdays, graduations, and mourning, with prices starting at each group. People look for flowers based on the occasion, so organizing by moment is more quickly used than organizing by flower type.
Wedding planner: package details that can be compared at home

Prospective brides and grooms compare several vendors at once, and their decisions are rarely made alone. Your link is reopened weeks later with their parents. This wedding planner demo provides the largest space for the two things that take the longest to read: tiered packages with details of their contents, and wedding galleries. Questions are submitted through a single form that is side by side with WhatsApp contact, so couples who are more comfortable writing at length also have their place.
Tutoring center: organized by school level, because parents search by their child's grade

At a tutoring center, the person who pays and the student are two different individuals. Parents look for teachers, schedules, and fees, while their children want to know what their classes will be like. The TutorinAja demo is organized by level and then by subject, with exam preparation paths such as OSN and UTBK, teacher profiles, and options for online or in-person classes. The scheduling form in the demo is just for show. Scheduling that actually stores data requires a database and someone to check it every day.
Paint store: a calculator that turns wall size into liters

Paint buyers know their room size, but rarely know how many cans to buy. Demo Warna Abadi has a calculator that asks for the surface area and then outputs an estimate of liters, along with a comparison of the final result: matte for the living room and bedroom, satin for the kitchen, semi-gloss for door and window frames, gloss for iron railings and wooden furniture. The calculator runs in the visitor's browser and doesn't store anything, so the page remains a regular static website without a server that needs to be maintained.
Car showroom: an installment simulation before buyers visit

Car buyers want to know their monthly installments before being approached by sales. The demo of Batam Auto Gallery features filters by category such as SUV, MPV, and electric vehicles, a special section for electric vehicles, and a monthly installment simulation, then test drive schedules are arranged via WhatsApp. Similar to a paint shop, the simulation is calculated in the visitor's browser. What you need to maintain yourself is the list of units, because cars that have been sold but are still displayed can lead to disappointing chats.
Housing development: a site plan that's useful as long as its status is kept up to date

Potential home buyers save your link and then open it again weeks later, along with their partner or parents. The Cendana Hills demo gives them material for that comparison: a house type card with land area, building area, and price, a site plan that marks the units that are still available, a list of KPR partner banks, and a four-step purchase flow from survey to key handover. The site plan is only useful if there is someone who marks the sold unit on the same day the down payment enters.
Clinic: the doctors' schedule first, queue numbers later

The most frequently asked question to the clinic: on which days does this doctor practice. The Griya Sehat demo answers this with a schedule per doctor that can be changed per branch, and then takes it a step further with booking that selects a branch, specialization, and time, issues a queue number, and displays the number being served.
The second part requires a database and an officer who updates it every day. With us, a booking system is one of the Basic Tier features in the Enterprise package, which starts at Rp 15.000.000 with two Basic Tier features already included. For most clinics, we recommend setting a correct practice schedule first, and the queue is discussed after the schedule has been proven correct for several months.
Logistics: track a shipment yourself without calling the admin

A logistics website is visited by two types of people: procurement staff who are compiling a shortlist of vendors, and customers who want to know where their shipment has arrived. The Kirana Logistics demo serves both with a summary of land, sea, air, and warehousing services, tracking based on receipt numbers, an estimated tariff calculator by distance and type of service, as well as Indonesian and English language options. The tracking that displays real shipment data must be connected to your operational system, and that connection is calculated separately from the website.
Beauty brand: new buyers come in through articles

People rarely type the name of a beauty brand they don't know. What they type is their own skin condition. That's why the Beauty Inside demo is in the form of a blog: the most-read articles are at the top, article cards that can be filtered by category, product review layout with ratings, and an email subscription form at the bottom.
Creative agency: the page itself is the showreel

An agency that sells motion usually displays a showreel in a video box, and the video stops as soon as the visitor scrolls past. In The Signal demo, the scroll position drives its animation. You can move forward, backward, or stop anywhere, and each stop lands on a complete frame. The animation is built with Remotion, so the same source can be rendered as an MP4 video for social media.
Automation service: three stops for a service you can't photograph

The workflow that runs automatically in the background cannot be captured in a screenshot. The InWorkflow demo overcomes this by using a single canvas that locks the screen: a moving network image follows the scroll, then stops at three points. At each point, a text panel enters, stays long enough to be read, and then exits. After the third point, the page scrolls to the services, process, evidence, and contact sections as usual.
Hotel: prospective guests walk from the lobby to the room before booking

Many regular guests book through booking applications. The hotel website is used to check if the rooms are indeed like in the photos. The Velara demo takes visitors on a tour of 24 scenes: receptionist, pool, restaurant, spa, ballroom, to deluxe, executive, and suite rooms. Each scene has its own link, so your staff can send one room type as one link in a chat. A form this large only makes sense if you already have photos or videos of your property.
Tourist attraction: tickets booked through a pre-written WhatsApp message

Tourist attraction websites are often accessed from mobile phones by people who are planning their day, sometimes already on the road. The demo of Taman Satwa Nusantara arranges five habitats as a one-day visit from 07.30 to 21.00, with a tiger mascot that follows the cursor and a passport stamp that is filled in every time a visitor views a new animal.
The easiest part to replicate for any tourist attraction is in its ticket panel. Visitors select a package, date, and the number of adults, children, and toddlers, then the panel creates a WhatsApp message that is ready to be sent.

Packaged food: the factory story scrolls by, the nutrition facts stay in writing

The Kurcandy demo was created for a fictional candy brand. One candy is followed from the factory pipe, through the tasting room, to its packaging, all in one scene that moves with the scroll. After the story is finished, the page returns to the part that buyers are always looking for: nutritional values per flavor, prices, and FAQs. The order form calculates the estimated total, then opens the visitor's email application to send the order.
A good small business website answers buyers before they ask
If the twenty demos above are lined up, what makes them useful is actually a little and repetitive:
- Prices or price ranges that are written openly.
- WhatsApp buttons that open a chat with one tap.
- Business hours and location, for businesses with physical locations.
- A small tool for specific business questions: volume calculators, loan simulations, doctor schedules, receipt checks.
- Displays designed for mobile phone screens first.
An attractive display depends on what you sell. For hotels, tourist attractions, and premium showrooms, the display is indeed part of the product, so large movements and interactions are useful. For laundry services, being attractive means the price per kilo can be read without zooming and the pickup and delivery button can be found without searching.
Almost all of the one-page demos in this list, from laundry to florists, are in the form of a landing page (we break down its components in the landing page examples article) and are the size of the Starter package: Rp 1.500.000, including a .com domain, hosting, and SSL for the first year, with a completion time of around 3 days after we receive complete materials. Websites with many photos, blogs, and animations and interactions fall under the Business package, Rp 5.000.000 with a completion time of 1 to 2 weeks. Once you need stored data, such as clinic queues or tutoring center class schedules, the calculation moves to the Enterprise package, which starts at Rp 15.000.000. The contents of all three are listed together on the package page, and if you're still weighing whether or not you need a website, the reading material is available at website or Instagram for small businesses.
Open the demo that is closest to your business, then send its link to us, or to any vendor, with one sentence about the part you want. If the link reaches us via WhatsApp, we will respond within a maximum of 1x24 hours on business days with the most suitable package and an estimated time.
Looking for where to register a small business? That's not a business website
Some people who type "small business website" are actually looking for where to register their business, not for website examples. The Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB), the official identity for running a business in Indonesia, is handled through the OSS system at oss.go.id.
The NIB is a licensing document. A website like the examples above is your own business storefront, where buyers see prices and contact you. Neither replaces the other.
If you're working out the order of steps from NIB to website and marketplace, we cover the steps and costs in the article digitalization for small businesses.
