Laundry Website Design

Most laundries already have regular customers and an active WhatsApp number. What's usually missing is one page that can be sent to new people, containing prices by the kilo, pickup and delivery areas, and business hours, so you don't have to retype the same answers every day.

What usually holds laundry businesses back

The questions a laundry gets are almost always the same three: how much per kilo, do you pick up in my area, and if I drop it off today, when will it be ready. The answers never change, yet you still type them out one by one, often outside working hours.

The second problem shows up when prospective customers search on Google. Someone who just moved into a boarding house types "laundry by the kilo near me", and what comes up are laundries whose address and prices can be read before anyone has to ask. Social media accounts rarely show up in searches like that, and the photo of a price list posted a few months ago sinks below the latest posts.

The third is trust. Handing your clothes to a stranger is a small decision, but it still takes confidence. A page that gives the full address, opening hours, how clothes are handled, and prices that aren't hidden makes people willing to try you the first time.

What it can look like for laundry businesses

This CuciKilat demo was built by us as an example of the design, not a paid client's website. It contains one page: a price list by the kilo arranged as cards to be readable on mobile screens, a list of pickup and delivery areas, an estimated processing time, and one WhatsApp button that directly opens a chat containing a pickup request.

What you get

For a laundry website, the content that is actually used by visitors usually includes:

  • A list of prices per kilo and per unit, arranged so that it can be read without zooming on a mobile phone screen
  • A list of pickup and delivery areas, written by village name or local landmarks
  • An estimated processing time for regular and express services
  • A WhatsApp button that opens a chat with a ready-to-send message, so customers don't get confused about what to write
  • Address, business hours, and map that can be opened directly to a navigation app
  • A page that can be found by Google when people search for laundry services in your area

What we don't recommend at the start: a laundry status tracking system and online payment. Both add costs and daily work, while almost all laundry customers still prefer to ask via WhatsApp.

Pricing for a laundry website

A laundry website is almost always sufficient with the Starter package, Rp 1.500.000, which already includes a domain, hosting, and SSL for the first year. This size is suitable for a one-page website containing prices, service areas, and contact information.

The Business package makes sense if you have more than one branch with different price lists, or want to write articles so that they can be found through search engines like how to care for certain materials. The details are on the package page.

Questions we often get from laundry businesses

My laundry is already busy through WhatsApp. Do I still need a website?

If your customers are already enough and you don't want to add more, you might not need one. A website is useful when you want to be found by people who don't know you yet, or when you want to stop retyping prices and pickup areas every day. One link that you can put in your bio, package stickers, and chat responses does that for you.

My prices by the kilo often change. Is it a hassle to change them?

Price changes are included in small tasks and we can help you with that. If you want to change them yourself anytime without contacting anyone, that's included in the package with an admin panel, and we'll discuss it before you decide.

Can you also create a system to track the status of the laundry?

Yes, but that's a web application with a database, not a one-page website, and the price is very different. Before we get to that, we usually suggest looking at how many customers actually ask about the status, because in most laundries the number is smaller than expected.

How long does it take to complete?

For the Starter package, it's around 3 business days, counted from when we receive your complete brief and materials, not from when the down payment is made. The materials in question: logo if any, photos of the place, price list, and pickup and delivery areas.

Whose name is the domain under?

Under your name, with full access from the first day. This is a question you should ask any vendor before transferring, and we discuss why in the article about domain ownership.
