A website with clear structure and navigation, for a small business going online for the first time

This is a demo website I built on my own as a sample, not paid client work. The business name is illustrative. The live preview above is the real build.

About This Website

Beauty and lifestyle blog with product reviews, skincare guides, and category-based browsing.

Notes Behind This Demo

Beauty Inside is a made-up beauty blog with one main writer. The reader I pictured arrives from a search about one product or one skin problem, then wants to browse other articles in the same category and judge whether the reviews can be trusted.

Three design decisions

The category buttons stick below the top menu and filter the article cards instantly. The entrance animation only plays once, so readers can jump back and forth between Skincare and Haircare quickly.
I treated the category label colors as a separate layer from the button color. Every label is dark enough for white text to pass WCAG AA contrast, and one deep rose is kept for buttons and links only.
The FAQ deals with trust first: products are used for at least two weeks before a review, the writing is not meant as medical advice, and products sent by brands are flagged at the top of the article. Readers of reviews look for signs that the writer is honest, so I put those rules on the front page.

A front page laid out like this demo can be built with Starter, and the article cards here do not open article pages yet. A blog with categories belongs to Business (Rp 5.000.000): new articles are published on request, and three initial articles are included. If newsletter subscribers should be stored on the site itself, that needs a database, which only comes with Enterprise.
