Terms of Service

1. About this document

InWebsite is a website design service run by Mahendra Zulqarnaen and based in Batam. These terms apply to every website project you order from us.

The details of each project, such as pages, features, price, and schedule, are set out in the written quote you approve before work begins. If the written quote differs from this page, the quote applies to that project.

2. Our services

We create websites in three packages: Starter, Business, and Enterprise. What each package includes and costs is on the pricing page.

• Consultation: free, 30 minutes, before any quote, with no obligation to order.
• Website development from scratch, according to the agreed package and scope, including basic SEO.
• Web applications with a database, admin panel, or online payments are part of the Enterprise package.
• Bug and error fixes during the support period after the website is live.

We don’t sell monthly maintenance subscriptions, and we don’t sell SEO or advertising as separate services.

3. Workflow and revisions

• Work starts once the quote is approved and the down payment is received.
• The timeline counts from the day the brief and materials (logo, photos, text) are complete: Starter takes about 3 business days, Business 1–2 weeks, and Enterprise depends on the project’s scope and is stated in the quote.
• 2 rounds of revisions at the design stage are included in the price.
• Requests outside the quoted scope count as additional work. We estimate the cost and time first, and start only after you agree.
• If your materials arrive late, the schedule shifts by the same amount of time.

4. Domain, hosting, and ownership

• Domain is registered in your name, with full access in your hands from day one.
• Starter and Business include a .com domain, hosting, and SSL for the first year. From the second year on, you pay the renewal directly to the provider, in your name. We don’t bill you for renewals, and we still help you handle them at no charge.
• Enterprise uses service accounts (hosting, database, domain) in your name, and the bills are paid directly to each provider from the start.
• The website we build for you, including its design and content, becomes your property once it is paid in full.
• Materials from you (logos, photos, text) remain your property. You guarantee that you have the right to use them.
• Common code components that we developed ourselves and use across many projects may still be reused by us in other projects.
• Portfolio: we only display your website in our portfolio if you allow it.

5. Payment

• A 50% down payment is paid before work begins.
• The remaining 50% is paid after the website is finished and you approve it.
• The price that applies is the one in the written quote you approve.

6. Support after launch

For 1 month after the website goes live, we fix bugs and errors at no extra cost. A bug is anything that doesn’t work as it should.

Adding pages or features, or changing the design, after the website goes live counts as new work, and we give you an estimate first.

7. Your obligations

• Provide accurate information and materials, and send them on the agreed schedule.
• Use the website for a lawful business. We do not create websites for gambling, fraud, or illegal content.
• Keep the passwords for the domain, hosting, and admin panel accounts handed over to you safe.
• Pay according to the agreed stages.

8. Limitation of liability

We are responsible for the work set out in the quote. We are not responsible for:

• Disruptions from third-party services, such as hosting and domain providers, WhatsApp, or payment gateways.
• Content and materials you provide, including their copyright.
• Losses caused by passwords or account access leaking on your side.

Our liability for a project is limited to the amount you have paid for that project.

9. If the project stops partway

If either party needs to stop the project before it is finished, they let the other know by email or WhatsApp. Together we work out what has been completed based on the written quote, and completed work that has been paid for is handed over to you.

10. Law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If a dispute arises, we first try to settle it through discussion. If that fails, the dispute will be settled at the Batam District Court.

11. Changes to terms

If these terms change, the "Last updated" date above changes too. Projects already underway keep following the terms and quote that applied when the project was agreed.
