Premium Car Showroom Website Design

Buyers in this class often already know exactly what unit they are looking for, sometimes even down to the year and color. What they do on your website is to ensure: what is the current condition of the unit, are the documents complete or not, and is your place worthy of being entrusted with a decision of that size.

What usually holds premium car showrooms back

A premium showroom sells a small number of units with high value per unit, and that changes the shape of its page. A list of stocks that arranges twelve cars in a small box in a row works well for buyers who are comparing many options in a similar price range. For units that are priced like a house, such a display cuts off the impression before people can even see the car. Each unit here needs its own space: a large photo with consistent background and angle, descriptions arranged next to it, and one page that can be read completely without having to pass through other units.

After physical condition, what most determines the value of a unit is its paperwork. Buyers ask about the number of previous owners, whether the service is recorded at an official workshop or not, whether the service book and invoice are still available or lost, whose name is on the BPKB and how long the process of transferring it takes, whether the unit was ever involved in a serious accident or flooded, whether the spare key and original tools are complete or not, and whether the accessories attached to the car are indeed factory options. The questions are always the same for all units, so a page that answers them as a checklist saves conversations that usually take up the first hour of a meeting.

The third thing is rarely discussed openly: many parties in this transaction do not want their name to appear. The previous owner often entrusts their unit with the condition that their identity is not mentioned, and the buyer often does not want to be seen looking, especially in a city where they are known. A premium showroom page therefore needs to display the units as completely as possible while keeping the owner's identity completely secret, then provide a personal contact channel: the phone number of one person who actually handles the unit, with a meeting schedule that can be arranged outside of busy hours.

What it can look like for premium car showrooms

This Aurelis Motor demo was built by us as an example of the design, not a paid client's website. It features a full-screen display that doesn't scroll: three cars, each with four sections that can be navigated through using the mouse wheel, finger swipe, or arrow buttons, starting from performance, precision, craftsmanship, to a section for contact. The color options on the site repaint the car directly through a circular mask that follows the cursor, like shining a flashlight on the body, without replacing the photo with another image. This type of design is included in the Business package and only makes sense if the photos of each unit are seriously worked on, because the weaknesses of the photo will be much more visible when displayed at that size.

What you get

For a premium showroom, the layout that usually makes sense is as follows:

  • One full page for each unit, with a large photo and descriptions arranged next to it
  • A set of photos with the same angle and background for all units, because consistency is what makes your catalog look curated
  • A checklist of documents for each unit: service book, invoice, BPKB, maintenance card, spare key, and included tools
  • A brief maintenance history along with the unit's origin, written without mentioning the previous owner
  • Description of the factory completeness and parts that have been replaced or modified, with indications of what is still original
  • The phone number of one person in charge who actually handles the unit, plus a note that meetings can be arranged outside of busy hours
  • Terms after purchase: shipping to outside the city, temporary storage, and who will handle the name transfer
  • Archive of units that have been sold, without prices, as a record of the types of cars you usually handle

What we do not recommend at the start: a monthly installment calculator on the unit page. This tool is useful in showrooms where buyers filter based on installments, and here buyers rarely come through that route. The installment figures under the photo of a car worth millions also shift the way people read the page, from checking the unit to calculating payment ability, and that conversation is difficult to reverse once started. If there are indeed buyers who use financing, it's enough to mention that financing can be arranged along with who will handle it.

Pricing for a premium car showroom website

A premium showroom almost always falls into the Business package, Rp 5.000.000 with a completion time of 1 to 2 weeks, because what is sold on this page is mostly its appearance. In this package, photos are stored in Cloudflare CDN so that large images still open quickly on mobile networks, the design is made from scratch following your showroom's identity, and movements and transitions between sections are included.

The Starter package, Rp 1.500.000 with a completion time of around 3 days, makes sense if what you need now is one neat page to be linked from your profile and from messages to potential buyers, while the catalog for each unit follows later. A comparison of the contents can be found on the package page, and as for why large photos can slow down a page, we explain it in the article about CDN.

Questions we often get from premium car showrooms

We sell used daily cars with a lot of stock. Is this page suitable?

You most likely need a different form, because car buyers compare many units at once and filter based on kilometers, service history, and installments. The arrangement for that is discussed on the car showroom page, including how to handle stocks that change every week. The page you are reading is written for small stocks of high-value items, where each unit is given its own page.

Are the unit prices displayed or not?

Both are reasonable in this class, and what needs to be avoided is total silence. If you choose not to display numbers, still provide something that can be used to filter, for example, a rough range per unit or a description that units in a certain class are in a certain range. Potential buyers who have no guidance often choose not to ask, because asking about prices first feels like revealing their bargaining position.

The previous owner asked for their identity not to be displayed. How is the unit's history written?

Write what is attached to the car: the year and city of the first registration, the number of owners, service notes along with the mileage at the time of service, and the parts that have been replaced. All of that can be conveyed without a single name. Also, check the photos, because the license plate that is fully readable, the documents that are included in the photo, and the recognizable home background often escape precisely in the best photos.

Our stock is only four units. Will the website not look empty?

Four units, each with a full page, have more content than twelve small cards in one list. The remaining space is filled with things that buyers in this class are really looking for: how you choose a unit before entering the showroom, what is checked and by whom, terms after purchase, and archives of units that have been sold. Even showrooms with small stocks have advantages that large stocks do not have, because each unit can be described one by one.

Do you need a 360-degree interior view?

Try a short video that is properly made, usually one to two minutes circling the unit and then entering the cabin with even lighting. A 360-degree view produces a large file, often appears blurry, especially in the parts that people most want to examine, such as the stitching of the seats and the wood panel, and makes the page slow to open. If it is really needed later, it can be added for certain units only.
