How Much Does a Website Cost in 2026? (An Honest Breakdown)

Website costs come in two kinds, and only one goes to us

The first is development cost: designing the design, arranging the pages, writing the code, until the website is live. This is paid once. The second is operational cost: domain, hosting, and SSL certificate, which are rental in nature and renewed every year as long as your website is still online.

In the Starter and Business packages, those three operational costs for the first year are already included in the package price, so there are no subsequent bills in the second month. To us, you pay once, without monthly subscriptions.

Vendors who quote lower prices often have not included the domain and hosting in their quotes. Two new quotes can only be compared after you ask one thing to each of them: whether the first year is already included or not.

The three figures we publish on our pricing page

Starter is priced at Rp 1.500.000, down from Rp 3.500.000. It includes a website with a clear structure and navigation: mobile-first design according to your brand, a WhatsApp button that directly opens a chat, a contact form that goes to your email, and basic SEO so that the page can be indexed by Google. A .com domain, hosting, and SSL for a year are included, plus one month of technical support after the website goes live. Business is priced at Rp 5.000.000, down from Rp 8.000.000. It still doesn't have a backend, so there's no server or database to maintain, with much more extensive content space: profile, services, and blog pages; your photos and visuals are stored in Cloudflare Storage with CDN; animations and interactions like scroll animation, hover effect, and smooth transitions; a product or service catalog that can be arranged directly on the website, without a backend and without a payment gateway; as well as an AI chatbot, included in the first year. We write the first three blog articles as a bonus so that the blog doesn't go live empty.

Enterprise starts at Rp 15.000.000. This is for websites that need to store and process data, not just display it: a web application with a database (Next.js + PostgreSQL) that follows your business process, complete with an internal API, technical documentation, automatic deployment, and handover of source code along with a database diagram. That figure is the basis for calculation, not a fixed price. Two Basic Tier features are already included, the rest we calculate per item. Hosting, database, storage, and domain use an account in your name and are billed directly by the provider, so the Rp 15 million is purely the cost of building.

Why two websites with the same number of pages cost different amounts

The number of pages is not the main factor. There are three things that affect the price.

• Once you need an admin panel, login, or data that changes every day, the website stops being static and moves to the Enterprise area. That's an architectural leap, and the price jumps with it.
• Smooth animations and interactions are already included in Business. More complex interactions, such as elements that respond to scrolling or cursors in a custom way, we discuss through Enterprise because their complexity depends on each brand's needs.
• Unprepared logos, photos, and texts do not increase the package price, but they often prolong the work process more than the coding stage. If the photos are not available, we will inform you of the minimum standards at the beginning.

Why a website design service looks expensive next to doing it yourself

Compared to free builders, the number above indeed looks big. The difference lies in the invisible work in the final result: a 30-minute conversation to understand your business, a design made from scratch and not a template used by many businesses at once, coding, testing on mobile phones, domain, hosting, and SSL for the first year, then one month of bug fixes after the website is live.

In builders, you do some of the work yourself, and their paid packages are usually subscribed to as long as the website is online. So what needs to be compared is not the upfront number, but the total cost until the third year and who holds the domain. The second year is the cost people most often forget

For Starter and Business, the first year of domain, hosting, and SSL is already paid for through the package price. Starting from the second year, you pay for all three directly to the provider, under your own name. We assist with the process and choice of provider without additional costs, but the money does not go through us. The amount depends on the provider and the hosting package you choose, so we do not want to guess the numbers here.

For Enterprise, this pattern applies from the first day: external services use your account and are billed directly by the provider.

One thing you need to ask any vendor before transferring: who is the domain registered under. With us, it is under your name, with full ownership and access from day one. If the domain is registered under the vendor's name, switching vendors means renegotiating your own website address.

What isn't automatically included in the package price

The AI chatbot is included in the Business and Enterprise packages for the first year. In the Starter package, it's an add-on for Rp 500.000. The quota is free but limited, around 100 messages per hour as long as capacity is available, and we train it using the content of your website itself.

Technical support for one month after the website goes live includes bug and error fixes, but not the addition of new features. Two rounds of revisions in the design phase are included, and minor revisions during development are not counted. After the project enters the development phase, significant changes are considered additional work, and we will provide an estimate first before we do the work.

If at some point you feel that the Starter package is too limited, upgrading to a higher package does not forfeit what you've already paid. We count the amount that has been paid as a deduction, so you only need to pay the difference.

The figure is locked in the proposal before work begins

You send a brief, we invite you to chat for about 30 minutes to explore your actual needs, then within one to two days you receive a proposal containing details of pages, features, timeline, and final price. The decision to proceed or not is made at that point, after the numbers are in black and white.

Payment is 50% upfront before we start and 50% after the website is completed and you approve it. You pay the invoice no later than seven days after we issue it. For Starter and Business packages, there is no separate setup fee, so the amount listed on the package page is what you pay.

If your budget is below our smallest figure

Start with the smallest one and upgrade later. Starter is sufficient for most small businesses that have one goal: to stop explaining prices and business hours via chat one by one.
